Our solutions for your safety:
1. Vertical systems – individual protection at every step
Safety when climbing and descending on vertical surfaces such as ladders, silos, halls, chimneys, machines, and towers.
How do vertical systems work?
- The worker is connected to the system with personal protective equipment using a movable sliding device.
- During climbing or descending, the device freely follows the user without the need for manual adjustment.
- In the event of a fall, the device automatically blocks and stops further fall, protecting the worker's life.
- Each vertical system is designed for individual use – it is used by one worker at a time.
Advantages of vertical systems:
Certified according to EU standards.
Automatic locking in case of a fall.
Compatibility with all types of protective equipment.
Maximum personal safety.
Don't leave the lives of your workers to chance. Request a free on-site assessment - protect your people and your business.
2. Horizontal systems – collective safety without compromise
Protection of multiple workers simultaneously on surfaces where there is a risk of falling: roofs, bridges, industrial plants, high-rise buildings and rooftop solar power plants. They are installed along roofs or work surfaces at high levels.
How do horizontal systems work?
- The system consists of solid horizontal safety lines installed along work surfaces.
- Workers are connected to the line using safety equipment and movable sliding elements that allow them to move freely throughout the entire work area.
- In the event of a fall, the system automatically stops the fall and absorbs the impact energy, thus preventing serious injuries.
- These systems are collective protection – they protect multiple workers simultaneously.
Advantages of horizontal systems:
Collective safety for multiple workers.
Certified according to EU standards.
Easy movement without constant disconnection.
Resistant to weather conditions and corrosion.
Ensure the security of your facilities today, not when it's too late.
Practical example.
- A company from Ivanić-Grad needed safe access to the top of a tanker
- We installed vertical line systems on the existing ladders, allowing workers to access the platform
- A horizontal line system was installed next to the platform, allowing workers to safely access the top of the tanker and empty the silos
- Workers are protected at all times, and our experts have introduced them to the correct use of the system
- Workers are no longer afraid of working at height, and Health and Safety, Management and Maintenance no longer worry about their workers falling down

Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
1. How long does it take to install the system?
The installation time depends on the complexity of the facility, but in most cases, we install the system within one to three business days. We always coordinate the work plan with your business to avoid downtime.
2. How much do these systems cost?
Less than one serious accident. The price depends on the size of the facility and the number and type of work positions, but we offer solutions that pay off through cost reduction and the peace of mind they bring.
3. Do we need systems if we already use harnesses?
Personal protection means nothing if there is no place for the worker to safely attach themselves. The system provides a permanent anchor point – it is the difference between improvisation and safety.
4. We have outside workers working on our facility. Do we need the systems?
Every facility owner should ensure that their facility is safe to use and maintain. This also includes responsibility when outsourcing work to your facility. If an outside contractor has nowhere to attach to an anchor point, whose responsibility is it that the anchor point is not on the facility?
5. We don't have the systems, but we have ladders with a cage (back protection). Is that enough?
The cage is a supplement to, but not a replacement for a vertical system. In the event of a slip or loss of consciousness, the worker will fall inside the cage and continue to fall to the bottom, hitting the rungs, the structure and the floor. For a higher level of protection, a vertical height system is recommended.
6. Are your systems certified?
Yes, all our systems meet the highest security standards. In addition, our experts are certified for installation and periodic inspections.
7. Do you maintain and inspect the systems?
Yes. We offer a complete solution, including regular maintenance and mandatory annual inspections following legal regulations. This ensures your equipment always remains operational and safe to use.
8. How many workers can use the system simultaneously?
Horizontal systems allow for the simultaneous use of multiple workers and are collective protection systems. Vertical systems are designed for individual protection and are used by only one person at a time.
9. What does the free service you offer include?
We perform a free measurement at your location and provide free training for your workers after system installation.
10. Why choose PRO-PROM Zagreb?
We have more than 34 years of experience in occupational safety, certified products and team, free measurement and training, and full support throughout the entire system life cycle.
11. Which system do I need - horizontal or vertical?
This depends on the type of object and how you move at height. If the work is carried out on flat or sloping surfaces (such as roofs or bridges), we recommend horizontal systems. Vertical systems are ideal for climbing and descending vertical surfaces (such as silos, scaffolding, or ladders). Our experts can analyze your location for free and suggest the optimal solution.
12. Which system do I need - temporary or permanent?
This also depends on the type of building and the method of movement at height. If you want to have safe access and movement on the roof of a hall, a permanent system is installed. If you are moving on scaffolding during the construction of a building, temporary solutions are usually used because the scaffolding is dismantled later. Our experts will suggest a possible solution.
13. What are the consequences of improper protection when working at height?
In addition to the obvious risks to the health and life of your employees, your company can face significant financial and legal consequences for violating occupational safety regulations. Our solutions help you prevent this and ensure peace of mind.
14. What if we already have an older system?
We will check for you. If the system is correct and certified, it stays. If not, we will suggest modernization.
15. What are these products also called?
Horizontal and vertical safety system, line system, ladder protection system, vertical fall arrester, climbing safety system, ladder safety system, vertical climber, vertical guide, vertical fall arrest system, rigid guide (rail) system, flexible guide (rope) system, anti-fall device for vertical movements, ladder safety rail, climbing fall arrest system, barrier-free roof protection, worker climbing safety system, ladder safety system, fall protection equipment for roof workers, roof fall protection, industrial ladder safety, fall protection system, roof movement safety system, safety line for working at height, horizontal safety ropes (cables), line fall arrester system, collective anchor line, roof work system, horizontal movement protection system, energy absorber movement system...
